Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes plans need to change.
Wellbeing sessions delivered by Healing Hearts & Homes CIC require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This helps us offer the space to someone else who may need support.
Counselling sessions delivered by external qualified counsellors follow their own cancellation policies, which will be shared with you at the time of booking.
We always aim to be flexible and understanding while respecting the time of our practitioners.
Policy
Payment & Invoicing Terms
Wellbeing support sessions are paid directly to Healing Hearts & Homes CIC at the time of booking.
Professional counselling sessions delivered by external qualified counsellors may be invoiced separately, depending on the practitioner.
All costs are clearly communicated before any booking is confirmed, and payment terms are agreed in advance to ensure transparency and ease for everyone.
Policy
Safeguarding, Qualifications & Professional Standards
Your safety and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.
Our in-house team provides emotional wellbeing support, reflective sessions, youth emotional support, and family healing activities. These are not counselling or therapy, and we do not diagnose or provide clinical interventions.
Professional counselling services are delivered by external qualified counsellors who partner with Healing Hearts & Homes CIC. These practitioners hold recognised Level 4+ counselling qualifications, professional memberships (such as BACP or NCS), safeguarding training, and appropriate insurance.
All staff and partners follow our safeguarding policy, confidentiality standards, and professional boundaries to ensure a safe, supportive environment for every individual and family we serve.
Our model
How Counselling Works With Us
Healing Hearts & Homes CIC provides emotional wellbeing support through our in-house wellbeing practitioners. We are not a counselling organisation.
When a client requires professional counselling, we commission external qualified counsellors to deliver this service. These counsellors hold recognised Level 4+ counselling qualifications, professional memberships (such as BACP or NCS), safeguarding training, and appropriate insurance.
We match clients with the appropriate practitioner based on their needs, availability, and specialism. Payment and cancellation terms for counselling may differ depending on the counsellor, and these will always be clearly communicated before booking.
This partnership model ensures that every client receives safe, accredited therapeutic support, while our CIC continues to focus on community wellbeing and empowerment — and it keeps us compliant with UK counselling regulations and safeguarding standards.
