"Rising in Light, Restoring Generations."

— Healing Hearts & Homes CIC
Our history

Strong families create strong communities

Healing Hearts & Homes was founded from a simple yet powerful belief: strong families create strong communities. Established by Jean Manyonga, Founder and Family Practitioner, the organisation was born out of a passion to help individuals and families overcome life's challenges through compassion, practical support, and hope.

Over the years, Jean witnessed the emotional, social, and spiritual struggles affecting many families — broken relationships, isolated individuals, vulnerable children, and communities longing for restoration. These experiences inspired the creation of Healing Hearts & Homes as a place where people could find understanding, guidance, and encouragement to rebuild their lives.

What began as a heartfelt vision has grown into a mission dedicated to promoting emotional wellbeing, strengthening family relationships, empowering young people, and supporting communities with dignity and care. Through family support services, mentoring, community outreach, and faith-inspired values, Healing Hearts & Homes seeks to bring lasting transformation to every life it touches.

Our work is guided by the belief that healing extends beyond individuals — it restores families, strengthens communities, and creates a legacy for future generations. Every programme, conversation, and act of service reflects our commitment to compassion, integrity, respect, and practical action.

Today, Healing Hearts & Homes continues to grow as a trusted organisation committed to helping people discover hope, resilience, and purpose. As we look to the future, we remain dedicated to our vision of seeing generations transformed by love, unity, and restoration.

Our values

What guides every conversation

Compassion

We meet every person and family with warmth, not judgement.

Integrity

We do what we say we'll do, and we're honest when something is beyond our scope.

Respect

Every individual's dignity and pace is honoured, never rushed.

Practical action

Reflection matters, but so does a plan you can actually use on Monday morning.
